Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans 21 oz each strawberry pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 box vanilla or white cake mix dry
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter melted
  • Optional: fresh strawberries white chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, lemon zest

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in the dish and stir in vanilla
  • Whisk cream cheese, sugar, and egg until smooth
  • Spoon cheesecake mixture over the strawberry layer
  • Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top without mixing
  • Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix
  • Bake uncovered until golden and bubbling
  • Let rest before serving

Notes

Serve warm for best texture
Make sure butter covers most of the cake mix to avoid dry spots
