vanilla extract

cream cheese

granulated sugar

large egg
1
box vanilla or white cake mix
dry

unsalted butter
melted
Optional: fresh strawberries
white chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, lemon zest
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish
Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in the dish and stir in vanilla
Whisk cream cheese, sugar, and egg until smooth
Spoon cheesecake mixture over the strawberry layer
Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top without mixing
Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix
Bake uncovered until golden and bubbling
Let rest before serving
Notes
Serve warm for best texture
Make sure butter covers most of the cake mix to avoid dry spots
