Roasted Broccoli with Lemon and Parmesan

Ingredients
Broccoli:

broccoli florets

tablespoons
olive oil

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
black pepper

teaspoon
garlic powder
Finishing:
Zest of 1 lemon
1 to 2
tablespoons
lemon juice
¼
cup
grated Parmesan cheese

tablespoon
parsley

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Dry and cut broccoli into florets.
Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Spread on baking sheet in single layer.
Roast 18 to 22 minutes, flipping halfway.
Remove from oven. Add lemon zest and juice.
Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
Dry broccoli thoroughly for crispiness
Do not overcrowd pan
Roast at high heat for best texture
Add lemon after roasting for fresh flavor
Use fresh Parmesan for best taste
Serve immediately for best results
Store leftovers up to 3 days
Reheat in oven to keep crisp texture
