Roasted Broccoli with Lemon and Parmesan

Ingredients
  

  • Broccoli:
  • lbs broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Finishing:
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Dry and cut broccoli into florets.
  • Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Spread on baking sheet in single layer.
  • Roast 18 to 22 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Remove from oven. Add lemon zest and juice.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Dry broccoli thoroughly for crispiness
  • Do not overcrowd pan
  • Roast at high heat for best texture
  • Add lemon after roasting for fresh flavor
  • Use fresh Parmesan for best taste
  • Serve immediately for best results
  • Store leftovers up to 3 days
  • Reheat in oven to keep crisp texture
