Ninja Creami Oreo Ice Cream

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 6 –8 Oreo cookies crushed (add more for extra crunch)

Instructions
 

  • Make the Ice Cream Base:
  • In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt until the sugar dissolves.
  • Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container (don’t exceed the max fill line).
  • Freeze the Base:
  • Seal the lid and freeze for 24 hours, until the base is completely solid.
  • Creamify the Base:
  • Remove the pint from the freezer and place it in the Ninja Creami machine.
  • Select the "Ice Cream" function.
  • If the texture is crumbly, use the "Re-spin" button. Repeat as needed until creamy.
  • Add the Oreos:
  • Make a small well in the center of the ice cream.
  • Add crushed Oreos and run the "Mix-In" function to blend them evenly.
  • Scoop & Serve:
  • Enjoy right away, or store in the freezer for later.

Notes

  • More Oreo flavor? Add crushed Oreos into the base before freezing.
  • Gluten-free? Use GF sandwich cookies.
  • Lighter version? Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Mix-In ideas: Caramel, peanut butter, white chocolate chips, or brownie bits.
