Honey Lemon Turmeric Gummies

Ingredients
  

  • Water 1 cup
  • Fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons or juice from 1 lemon
  • Honey 2 tablespoons raw or organic preferred
  • Fresh turmeric 1 tablespoon grated (or 1 teaspoon ground)
  • Gelatin powder 2 tablespoons or agar-agar for vegan version
  • Optional flavorings: pinch black pepper dash cinnamon, few drops vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Base: In a small saucepan, combine water, lemon juice, and turmeric. Heat gently over medium-low for 2–3 minutes.
  • Add Honey & Flavors: Remove from heat and stir in honey and optional spices.
  • Bloom Gelatin: Sprinkle gelatin evenly over the liquid. Let sit 1–2 minutes to absorb liquid.
  • Dissolve Gelatin: Return to very low heat, stirring until fully dissolved. Avoid boiling.
  • Mold Gummies: Pour mixture into silicone molds or lined baking dish. Smooth the top. Cool 10–15 minutes at room temperature.
  • Chill & Set: Refrigerate 2–3 hours until firm. Pop from molds or cut into shapes.
  • Store: Airtight container in fridge up to 1 week, or freeze up to 1 month.

Notes

Use fresh turmeric for vibrant color.
Add a pinch of black pepper to enhance curcumin absorption.
Adjust honey to taste; too much may prevent proper setting.
Use silicone molds for fun shapes and easy removal.
Keep heat low when dissolving gelatin to avoid runny texture.
