  • Fudge Base
  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Cherry Mix-In
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries drained, very well dried, and finely chopped
  • Optional Add-Ins & Toppings
  • Extra chopped cherries
  • Dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • White chocolate drizzle
  • Chopped almonds or pistachios

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
  • Drain maraschino cherries thoroughly, pat completely dry with paper towels, and chop finely.
  • Gently fold the chopped cherries into the warm fudge mixture. Add any optional mix-ins if using.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Add optional toppings if desired.
  • Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes, or up to 1 hour for firmer slices.
  • Lift out using parchment and cut into squares.

Notes

• Cherries must be completely dry or the fudge will stay soft.
• Use low heat and stir constantly to prevent scorching the white chocolate.
• Chop cherries finely for even distribution and clean slices.
• This fudge is rich—smaller squares work best.
