Dessert Pizza with Pizza Dough

Ingredients
  

  • Base:
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Topping:
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh fruit strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, oranges
  • Optional: chocolate chips marshmallows, candy, nuts, caramel

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line pan with parchment.
  • Roll dough into 12-inch circle. Transfer to pan.
  • Mix melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Brush mixture all over dough.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
  • Cool completely for 15 minutes.
  • Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Spread frosting over cooled crust.
  • Add fruit and toppings in any pattern you like.
  • Slice into 8 pieces. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Let crust cool completely before adding frosting
  • Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth frosting
  • Pat fruit dry with paper towels before adding
  • Do not overload toppings or slices get floppy
  • Bake crust plain first before adding any toppings
  • Best eaten same day — crust gets soft over time
  • Store-bought pizza dough works great
  • Any frosting works — cream cheese, vanilla, or whipped cream
