Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe but firm bananas
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or melted butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar white or brown
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Slice the Bananas
  • Peel and slice bananas into thin rounds (~1/8"). Thinner = crispier!
  • Toss with Lemon Juice
  • Gently coat slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Make the Cinnamon-Sugar Mix
  • Combine oil, sugar, cinnamon (and salt, if using). Gently toss with bananas to coat.
  • Air Fry
  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
  • Arrange slices in a single layer (no overlapping).
  • Air fry 10–15 mins, flipping halfway. Watch closely in the last few mins!
  • Cool to Crisp
  • Transfer to a wire rack or parchment-lined plate. Let cool for 10 mins to crisp up.

Notes

  • Use firm bananas—not overripe!
  • Swap coconut oil with olive oil or butter.
  • For sugar-free, skip sugar and use only cinnamon.
  • Want extra crispy? Slice thinner + cook a bit longer at a lower temp.
