Cherry Delight Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 can 21 oz cherry pie filling

Instructions
 

  • Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar; press firmly into a 9x13-inch dish and refrigerate 15 minutes
  • Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy
  • Fold in whipped topping and spread evenly over the chilled crust
  • Spoon cherry pie filling gently over the cream layer and spread to the edges
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours, preferably overnight

Notes

Fully soften cream cheese for the smoothest layer
Drain excess liquid from cherry filling if needed
Overnight chilling gives the cleanest slices
Wipe knife between cuts for neat presentation
