Cherry Coconut Magic Bars

Ingredients
  

  • Crust Layer
  • cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • Filling Layers
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup maraschino cherries drained, dried well, and chopped
  • Optional Add-Ins
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • White chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment or grease lightly.
  • Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, press firmly into the pan.
  • Layer evenly: chocolate chips, chopped cherries, shredded coconut, and nuts if using.
  • Slowly drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the layers.
  • Bake 25–30 minutes until top is lightly golden.
  • Cool completely, then lift out and slice into squares or bars.

Notes

Dry cherries well to prevent soggy bars.
Press crust firmly for structure.
Layer evenly for consistent texture.
Don’t overbake; bars set as they cool.
Cool completely before slicing.
