Air Fryer Steak

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ribeye steaks or your favorite cut, about 1-inch thick
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika optional
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh herbs rosemary or thyme, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Air Fryer
  • Set air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat.
  • Season the Steaks
  • Pat steaks dry. Rub with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Cook the Steaks
  • Place steaks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Medium-rare: 8–10 minutes
  • Medium: 10–12 minutes
  • Flip halfway through cooking.
  • Butter & Rest
  • Add a pat of butter on each steak after cooking.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • 💡 Tips
  • Let steaks sit at room temperature for 20–30 mins before cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer:
  • Medium-rare: 130°F
  • Medium: 140°F
  • Medium-well: 150°F
  • Adjust cook time based on thickness.
  • Try different cuts like NY strip, sirloin, or filet mignon.
