Air Fryer Pizza Bombs

Ingredients
  

  • Pizza Bombs:
  • 1 can 16 oz refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 8 tablespoons pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 8 cubes mozzarella cheese 1-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Serving:
  • Extra pizza sauce for dipping
  • Ranch dressing optional

Instructions
 

  • Open biscuit dough. Separate biscuits.
  • Flatten each biscuit into 4-inch circle.
  • Place 1 tablespoon pizza sauce in center.
  • Place one mozzarella cube on sauce.
  • Sprinkle pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  • Gather edges up and around filling. Pinch tightly to seal completely.
  • Roll sealed dough into smooth round ball.
  • Place seam side down on parchment paper.
  • Repeat with all biscuits.
  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F for 3 minutes.
  • Place parchment in air fryer basket.
  • Arrange pizza bombs with space between. Work in batches if needed.
  • Air fry at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
  • Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Remove pizza bombs when golden.
  • Brush with garlic butter while hot.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Cool 2 to 3 minutes. Cheese inside is very hot.
  • Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Seal seams completely to prevent leaks
  • Do not overfill — 1 tablespoon of sauce and 1 cheese cube
  • Use parchment to prevent sticking
  • Work in batches — do not overcrowd
  • Brush with butter while hot
  • Let cool 2 to 3 minutes before eating
  • Serve fresh for crispiest texture
  • Can bake at 375°F for 12 to 15 minutes
  • Assemble ahead and refrigerate up to 4 hours
  • Freeze cooked pizza bombs up to 2 months
